I’m sure you guys know by now that I’m a fragrance nut! I pretty much never leave the house or go to bed without a little spritz of something. With that said, I’m drawn to lighter floral scents that smell clean and not overpowering. So of course I was eager to try out the Tory Burch Bel Azur perfume inspired by Core d’Azur, in the French Riviera! It has a breezy floral scent with notes of Peony and earthy cedar. It definitely leaves me sniffing my wrist throughout the day which I don’t normally do, but the scent is just that addicting!

Every few months I like to switch up my skincare and try something new. Your skin can get used to the same products so it’s good to keep things fresh and reset your skincare from time to time! Especially after my move from Texas to New York my skin has changed so much. It was super oily when I lived in the south, and now I feel like it’s been on the dryer side since being in a cooler climate. With that said, moisturizing has become part of my new daily routine. I just started using the Overnight reset Oil-In-Serum and it’s made a huge difference in my skin texture!
I was at first a bit timid to try a facial oil because my skin is super sensitive but this stuff is seriously incredible! It’s lightweight and instantly absorbs so it’s not heavy at all. After the first night I could see a very noticeable difference in my skins tightness and texture but it takes 28 days to see the full effects. I just apply it before bed every night (it’s literally on my nightstand) and I wake up with skin that looks well rested. I’m so happy I found this because being pregnant in my third trimester I feel like good sleep is hard to come by because I’m so uncomfortable. I maybe get a solid night of rest maybe three nights a week, and my skin was really starting to show it in the mornings. But this serum has quite literally saved my skin.

Happy Wednesday babes! The hairstylist in me is so beyond excited to be chatting about hair care today! For those who don’t know this about me, I was a hairstylist for 8 plus years before blogging became my full time job! Also anyone who knows me, knows that I’m quite obsessed with my hair. In a very annoying type of a way, meaning I’m constantly fixing it and fidgeting with it throughout the day. It’s baby fine and extremely hard to manage, especially after getting coloring treatments!

Finally getting around to sharing my must have pregnancy skincare items! I’m pretty serious about good skincare, the proof being that I’ve used an eye cream religiously every day since I was 16! I don’t have any lines around my eyes, so I know that if you are consistent with products they will work. Of course now that I’m pregnant, I’m nat able to use all my regular go-to’s or anything with retinol (sigh). I miss retinol products the most because it’s the only thing that works for my skin and helps to keep the fine lines away. And honestly I had a really hard time finding pregnancy safe products that worked in the beginning when I first found out I was pregnant. Which lead me to lots and lots of research that made me wish Sephora and other skincare places I shop had a pregnancy tab of pregnancy safe products to use! But of course the real reason I assume that they don’t is because you always want to check with your doctor.
