Happy Wednesday babes! The hairstylist in me is so beyond excited to be chatting about hair care today! For those who don’t know this about me, I was a hairstylist for 8 plus years before blogging became my full time job! Also anyone who knows me, knows that I’m quite obsessed with my hair. In a very annoying type of a way, meaning I’m constantly fixing it and fidgeting with it throughout the day. It’s baby fine and extremely hard to manage, especially after getting coloring treatments!
Usually when I have balayage in my hair, I like to get it touched up every 5 weeks along with a trim to help keep me ends looking fresh. My hair is always very dry after I get it colored so I love using products that help moisturize and maintain my color. I was taught the importance of using quality products in beauty school and it really stuck with me. A name I’ve grown to love and trust is Moroccanoil! I’ve been using their products for years and recently tried the Moroccanoil Color Complete collection and I’m obsessed!
I love that long lasting hair color is now possible with Moroccanoil’s new Color Complete line! The Color Continue Shampoo and Conditioner is specifically designed to extend color retention and restores the health of each hair strand. I noticed right away how much more shine my hair had to it and also the manageability when brushing and styling. It’s helped so much with keeping my color looking fresh, I don’t think I’ll ever go without it now! Also I’m pretty addicted to the scent, this stuff smells amazing!
Another product I can’t go without is a good heat and protection spray. I use the Protect & Prevent spray right out of the shower before blow drying and love how easy it is to apply. I usually start at my ends and spray working upward, staying away from my roots. Love the Moroccanoil signature smell and it really helps with flyaways and frizz! Most importantly it doesn’t weigh my hair down or have that product feel to it. It’s super lightweight and just makes my hair feel really soft. Also did I mention it has sunscreen to help absorb UV Rays?
Thanks so much for stopping by!
