Happy hump day babes! Fall is here but the temps in Texas are not quite there yet! Fingers crossed we get some cooler weather soon, but for the moment I’m transitioning into fall with textures. Like this lightweight knit I picked up from Nordstrom last week. It’s extremely breathable and will layer perfectly when the weather allows. I’m going to also purchase a few other colors because this knit will be a staple in my wardrobe this season!

Speaking of fall staples, I can’t tell you how much use I’ve been getting out of these Steve Madden flats that look almost identical to the Gucci pair I’ve been lusting after for so long! I think it may be time to invest in the real deal, but I love a good entree pair like this to see how much wear l will actually get out of them before spending the bigger bucks. The faux fur details add the perfect touch for fall, and I love the minimal style.

Also I mentioned adding textures as a way to transition into fall, which brings me to chat about this suede mini for a moment! I picked this one up at Zara and have also been eyeing this Blank NYC version as well. Suede is a fall staple in my wardrobe and I love that this mini works well for a ton of different occasions and can easily be dressed up or down. Also I can wear it when it’s 90 degree’s without sweating!

Lastly another fall staple that is huge this year is a paperboy hat! I’m not quite sure that I’m able to pull this style off but I really don’t care. I will wear them proudly because they make me happy! This also applies to the readers I wore in my last post that Alex hated. It’s so funny when men give fashion advise to women, they don’t get it! Lol!

So which fall staples do you guys love most this year? I’d love to hear in the comments below! Thanks for stopping by!
