Lately, I’ve been really drawn to casual fashion. Something I never really payed a whole lot of attention to my first year of blogging. Sure getting all dolled up is a lot of fun, but it’s not practical for everyday fashion. So anytime I find the perfect mix of dressy and casual, I’m all about it! Adding these Adidas are a great way to dress down an otherwise dressy look. Hence you have seen them a lot as of late on the blog!

Another trend I’ve been loving is anything with a lace hem. I found this lace trim dress at Forever it’s the prefect dress for layering. I ordered a size medium since Forever tends to run a little smaller but it would have been fine in a small. I also love this one from Bloomingdales.

Lastly I added a chunky knit and voila, a sporty chic look for everyday wear!

I am obsessed with lace hems right now, any time I see a lace hem I cannot stop myself from adding it to my closet! There is something so easy about them (just like you said, you need style that is more everyday and practical too) yet they make you feel so pretty!

Hi Jack. I came to your blog via the Guardian article, as I’m sure many others here have. I find the kind of ingenuity you applied to cooking really inspiring. Looking forward to taking a look around your recipe archive.
