Currently trending- the tie front skirt

Cold shoulder sweater | White faux leather tie skirt (wearing a US Size 4) | Grey lace up sandals | M.A.B. mini | Sunglasses
Can you believe summer is officially over? With that said the weather is still pretty warm here in Texas, go figure! So adding textures like this faux leather skirt, keeps me cool but still embraces fall. Not to mention, how adorable is the tie in the front? I love that tie waist dresses and skirts are getting so much attention right now, it adds such a feminine touch and really accentuates the waistline. Now that’s a trend I can embrace! Also the length of this skirt is not too short so you can get away with wearing it in the daytime. I wore this look to an afternoon fall fashion show and it was perfect for not looking too dressy! Oh and the best part about this skirt is the price tag-under $30! I’m wearing a US size 4 but if you are in between size’s, order up a size.

Now let’s chat about knits! Admittedly, I’ve already bought about 15 sweaters for fall, but I seriously can’t help myself! While I’m always sad to see summer go, this girl loves her cozy knits and textures! The one I’m wearing today by free people is a total winner by the way! It perfectly falls off the shoulder and drapes really pretty. I’m not quite ready to give up my off the shoulder looks, so I’m definitely happy this one carry’s over into fall! Also it’ll look super cute with jeans and over the knee boots when it cools off more! Can’t wait to style this one again, it’s defiantly one of those you’ll keep reaching for in your closet.
