Instagram lately + Q&A’s

Lace up hoodie / Black shorts / Lace up leopard flats (old, similar here & here)
I found these pink pumps ON SALE for only $89, when most retailer’s are selling them for over $200! They are so so flattering and you need them ASAP! Adding a pop of color to your outfits is going to be a huge trend this fall!

These nude pumps are so so flattering and cling to your feet perfectly! Plus the block heel is the cutest!
This Christian Paul watch looks great with a neutral wardrobe!
Pretty blooms from Trader Joes

Loving this little leaf ring

I wore this dress from Nordstrom when I hosted at the blogger crawl last week. I got so many complements on it and it’s under $100!

How to be Parisian is one of my favorite books to cuddle up with. Also, I love drinking Oolong tea, it’s great for lowering your blood sugar (hello I love sweets) and that converts to lower body fat! Plus it taste’s amazing! And if you want extra detoxing effects,  just add a little lemon!

Happy Friday! Today I’m doing something a little different and having a Q&A; since I always get a lot of questions throughout the week. Just leave your questions below for next time!

1. What camera do you use?
Recently I upgraded from a Sony A5000, to a Nikon D750 and I LOVE it! I still use my Sony for travel because it’s really light weight and easy to use.

2. How do you get into RewardStyle?
This is one I get asked a bunch, and what I always tell people is to apply once you feel you have a devoted following and high quality imagery. I got denied the first time I applied with them so if you don’t get in at first just work hard on improving your images and growing your following. And don’t give up!

3. What kind of dog do you have?
If you follow me on IG stories or Snapchat, then you see a lot of my dog Ava. She’s a teacup Pomeranian and she’s almost 4 years old.

4. How do I start a blog?
First you wanna figure out a blog name. Try to keep it short and catchy. You want it to be something people can easily remember. Next, you’ll wanna figure out if you’re going to go with Blogger or WordPress. I use blogger, but honestly I wish I had started with WordPress. I’m going to be switching soon and I’m dreading the process of having to learn a whole new platform. So my recommendation would be to start with WordPress so that you don’t have to switch later once your blog grows.

5. How do you get such good lighting on your instagram photo’s?
Majority of my IG photos are taken with my iPhone, and one thing that is really important is lighting. You want to make sure you have a lot of natural lighting, and not too many shadows. This will make editing much easier, and there isn’t a whole lot you can do to fix a photo that has bad lighting to begin with. Also for my flat-lay’s I use this light reflector to help reduce shadows and add a clean white tone to my photos. It’s a game changer for flat-lay’s!
