For most of us Southern girls, this weekend was our first taste of cold weather. Actually, we didn’t really have a fall this year, I think it went straight from summer to winter. I’m just happy that I don’t have to sweat my little hinny off any longer while taking photos! LOL!

Over the knee boots are a major trend this year, and I’m not complaining! It’s all about finding the perfect pair that will fit YOUR body. If you’re like me and have rather skinny legs, one thing you’ll wanna pay attention to is the circumference. Making sure it’s in the 13″ to 14″ range. This way they will hug your legs and not do that weird slouching boot thing that I can’t stand. No thanks! Also you’ll need to make sure the shaft is below a 20″ or 21″ if your shorter. Being 5’2 and trying to wear boots made for someone who’s 5’6 will not look how it was intended, but if you do your research you can find the perfect pair!

Mine are by Ivanka Trump and exceed my expectations. Which is why I’m currently buying them in all colors. How does that one rule go? When you find a shoe you really love, buy them in every color?
