Magenta and Red…

Magenta sweater: Kohls | Red bow skirt: Chicwish wearing a size small | Heels: Similiar style here | Clutch: Gigi New York | Rings: (here, here) | Bangles: Julie Vos | Spike bracelet: Stella and Dot | Watch: Kate Spade | Sunnies: Dior

If London fashion week wasn’t any inclination that Magenta and reds are a hot combo this fall, then I don’t know what is! There is something about combining two colors that are so close together on the color wheel (like navy and black) that it gives off a certain sophistication. The key is to make it very decisive and bold so that everyone knows you are deliberately making the choice to wear the two shades together.

This darling red skirt from Chicwish has the perfect flare for any holiday party. Not to mention red looks amazing on just about everyone. Try to think of someone who doesn’t look great in red? I thought so. But I can already think of a million other ways I want to pair this skirt for the holidays. Like maybe with a white blouse with a black neck tie. How darling is that? The potential of this skirt is endless, so expect to see her again in another post soon.

A good party idea that you can plan for your kids is to organize a flip flop holiday party. This very appropriate for the summer season. Most young kids enjoy this kind of theme. There are a lot of things that you can do for the party like adding flip flop themed balloons, lights and decorations.
