Happy Friday! The Nordstrom Sale is finally here! I made all of my images above clickable to make navigating this sale super easy. Also I went through the entire sale and found some really great pieces that I hope you’ll love too! The sale is early access right now so you have to be a cardmember to shop the sale. Honestly, they always release the best stuff during early access and it goes fast, so don’t hesitate because it will probably be gone if you delay! Happy shopping!
Finally sharing my 2nd trimester update with you guys today! I’m 21 weeks and I have my energy back (thank the LORD) and my headaches have completely gone away! I was averaging a headache a day for three strait weeks in the beginning of my 2nd trimester and it was absolutely terrible. My doctor said I could take Tylenol but I really tried hard to just avoid taking any medication. So I suffered through them quite a bit. I know some women recommend peppermint oil, but that didn’t work for me. The only thing that would help me a little was getting out of bed and going strait to the gym. It really helped get my blood flowing and kept them from getting terrible. They were so bad that it actually hurt to eat. I can remember Alex and I going to the Chelsea Market, and I was so hungry but I couldn’t finish my meal because it hurt to chew! Crazy, right?! But these little sacrifices are all worth it and I take them like a badge of honor! Growing a human is hard work!

Happy Monday babes! Ahh… we got back last Friday from the dreamiest babymoon in the south of France! We started out in Saint Raphael, located between Cannes and St Tropez. It’s a bit more quite and relaxed but the real reason we decided to stay there is they have the dreamiest boutique Hotel Les Roches Rougues, right on the water with a beautiful pool! The pool is naturally preserved and made into the ocean so it was just absolutely stunning! Also the hotel decor was to-die-for! I wanted to take everything home with me, from the rugs to the paintings, it was a minimalist dream. We stayed there for 3 days before moving onto Cannes.

Ahhh sorry guys, but I don’t think I want to come home! The French Riviera is treating us too well, we are pretty much living in a post card at the moment! I could definitely get used to days spent on the beach and napping in hammocks. That actually happened the other day. It was pretty magical, I’ll leave it at that.
Another thing I love about vacation (aside from the obvious) is catching up on reading. Something I wish I got to do a whole lot more of. Happy to report I’ve indeed caught up on some reading this trip and one of my favorite fashion magazines (Porter Mag) just declared leopard the new black. I’m sure you guys already know that I 1000% agree with this statement! Leopard print is great for even the minimalist like myself and so easy to pull off. I remember being so afraid of leopard print years ago, it was quite intimidating. But with so many timeless silhouettes it’s now super easy to style and wearable for everyday.
