Bold colors for the holidays make a strong statement. It draws the eye from across the room and really stands out.

Today, I’m not flaunting my usual neutral, play it safe, (that I love so much) color combo. Sometimes the greatest outfits come from pairing unlikely colors and stepping out of that “safe zone”. Lately I’ve been admiring the chunky sweater look, and I’m beyond thrilled with the one I’m wearing today from J Crew Factory. If you’ve never shopped at the factory, boy you are missing out! They have amazing steels on everything J Crew! This chunky darling sweater is only $44 and comes in a ton of colors! I also snagged in light blue and plan on wearing it with a silver sequin skirt for a holiday glam look.

Next, I paired my favorite pair of over the knee boots by Ivanka Trump. I get so many stops from people when I wear these because they are such a beauty in person! I also own the same pair in grey (remember this post) which I wear all the time! They are the most comfortable pair of heeled boots I’ve ever owned. I can wear them all day standing and I’m fine! Which says a lot because my feet are pretty pampered and don’t like to stand for long periods in heels (I wear flats at work all day)!

Lastly, I added a pop of leopard with my favorite foldover clutch. This clutch never goes out of style! I’ve had it for years and it still looks as beautiful as the day I got it. Also it looks amazing with just a LBD for a date night or if you wanna just add a little something to an otherwise boring look. As much as I love this clutch, I know some of you can’t always splurge on the real deal. Or maybe you need an entry bag to just try it out and see if you like it, which is why I found a very similar style at Nordstrom for a steal of under $50! No splurging there!
