Lace up detail

Floral lace up dress | Chloe dupe | Marc Fisher Adalyn | Sunglasses |  Starshooter ring | 6 Stone Milano bangle | Hermes bangle (dupe here) |

One of my f-a-v-o-r-i-t-e trends at the moment is anything with a lace up detail. Put them on shoes, my top, or even my dress and I'm one happy camper. Lace up details are popping up everywhere, in a ton of versatile styles, but I was smitten at first sight with this darling number! I love the ruffle neckline added with the lace up detail, it's borderline genius for girls with a larger bust. Not to mention the vibrant print is perfect for just about any summer festivity you'll be attending. It's one of those dresses you'll never want to take off, trust me it's a keeper!

Love these sandals!

Brunch at Blacksmith off Westheimer, they have the best BLT'S! Also they have a small menu, which works great for indecisive people like my husband!

Finally found some shimmery pillows similar to mine at Kate Spade

Wrap dress: Free People (love this dress, comes in a ton of colors) | Chloe dupes

Off the shoulder top, similar here | Distressed shorts | Tory Burch cross body

Oolong tea and the latest J.Crew mag

Happy Tuesday loves! Wanted to do an Instagram roundup since it's been so long! Do you guys have any fun plans for the 4th? Alex and I are taking a trip to Austin for the weekend and I'm so excited! We are currently booking things to do while we are there so if anyone has some good suggestions, I'd love for you to let me know in the comments below. Have a wonderful day!

Bell Sleeve top

Louvre Top by Endless Rose | Lovers + Friends denim shorts |  Lace up flats, Old via Steve madden, identical here | Starshooter ring | Sunglasses

I don't know about you, but I'm loving the bell sleeve trend lately. Which is strange because I normally roll up anything long sleeve. Truthfully, I've been eyeing this top for about 4 months but it was sold out. So naturally once it was re-stocked I was all game. Also I can't wait for them to restock it in black. Yep. I'm one of those... when I find something I like I purchase in all colors!

I decided to pair neutral accessories to keep the look minimal. These lace up flats do wonders for shorter legs, so for that reason I wear them a lot. Even though I'm attracted to bolder shoe colors, I have to remind myself neutral colors always suit me best. Having a closet full of neutral shoes is super smart anyway, because they go with everything and get a ton of use.

Hope you enjoyed this look!

Matching set + Drew Chloe dupe

Matching set's have been popping up at all of my favorite retailer's this spring/summer, which means that being matchy-matchy is back. I'm totally not complaining though, because I happen to love matching sets. This set in particular stood out to me immediately because of the fun print. I love how it has the slightest pop of color, and the cut is very flattering on my petite frame.

Lastly, I paired my favorite Chloe dupe, with some tassel sandals (that just so happen to be on sale right meow). Speaking of dupes, if you're not sold on buying the real deal or just not quite ready to drop the big bucks, dupes are a great way to try out the style and see how often you'll actually use it before investing. Also, neutral pieces get the most use, so go for black or a nude color. Well guys, that's my two cents, hope you have a fabulous weekend!

How to wear distressed denim shorts

Bell sleeve top | Distressed denim shorts (I rolled mine up) | Rebecca Minkoff studded sandals (on sale!) | Starshooter ring | Hermes bangle (dupe here) | Milano 6 Stone Bangle

One of my favorite combinations for summer is a flowy top paired with distressed denim. I'm especially fond of this bell sleeve darling because it's super light weight, and despite the long sleeves very cool. It was actually over 95 the day we took these photos, and I was surprised by how comfortable this top was.

One thing I always struggle to find every summer is a perfect pair of denim shorts. I'm very picky about the fit and I usually order about 5 pairs (and return them) before I get it right. These were an instant heck-yes! I love the over distressed look of these and how they are just the right length. They were a total splurge at $150, but well worth it. I'll also be linking a few budget friendly options below, so be sure to scroll and check them out! Also, if you love my sandals, they are currently marked down, so it's a win, win situation!
